B-Mex develops computational models that integrate scientific knowledge, available data and local conditions. Our mathematical models help achieve cultivation goals and provide insight for making short- and long-term decisions. In this way, cultivation knowledge becomes practical for growers, consultants and suppliers and we contribute to a more sustainable agriculture and horticulture.
The Gerbera Growth Model is a detailed crop model that calculates the growth and development of gerbera plants. This model is linked to a greenhouse climate model, allowing the effect of climate on the crop to be calculated.
The CO2 Optimal tool calculates the optimal CO2 dosage for greenhouse farms, taking into account crop type, greenhouse conditions, outdoor conditions and grower goals. A greenhouse climate model analyzes all CO2 flows, while a photosynthesis model calculates the effect of CO2 on the crop.
